Hard to know. Could be he doesn't like the new staff, doesn't like the situation with the QB and HC, maybe he's tired of it snowing in late April in Colorado, maybe he just thinks his opportunity to make it to the league will be better elsewhere. Modern day college athletes can do what they want, when they want, where they want and command how much they want if they're good enough. He obviously thinks he will do better somewhere else and his reasons don't really much matter. I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of that in Boulder.Dang, the only thing I saw of the Colorado spring game was when I tuned in as it was ending and they were asking Shedder about Montana and how good he is.
Is it a case of having a great spring game, entering the portal, and hoping USC calls?
What folks don’t understand that this is nothing but daddy ball. He did it with his son in rec football and high school. Then he realized his name could get him hired to keep the daddy ball going at a very low level of college football. Now, he found a 1-11 school willing to take a chance. Good for him and I respect his hustle. But once his son is gone so will he. This is all about Deion doing everything to get his son to the NFL. We’ve already heard him say it. Remember all his talk about HBCU’s and those players not getting a legit shot (even though plenty of HBCU players have made the NFL). He has already succeeded in backing the NFL into a corner regarding his son, very similar to what we see Lebron doing with his son. If their sons are good enough they’ll make it on their own. But the fact that both these guys have to pull strings is very telling.
There was a time a good many years ago, that being the starting quarterback at a major University was almost as much political as athletic. Of course the quarterback had to be skilled, but also had to have the support of various coaches and sometimes boosters and fans. What folks don’t understand that this is nothing but daddy ball. And a banana split.I'll take that bet. A double cheeseburger at Zestos? With chili cheese fries?
Like 1994?There was a time a good many years ago, that being the starting quarterback at a major University was almost as much political as athletic. Of course the quarterback had to be skilled, but also had to have the support of various coaches and sometimes boosters and fans.
There’s a good change Prime is a kit car Ferrari body on a Volkswagen.Too bad we dumped all our money on a Fiero instead of a Ferrari like Colorado.
Bro do you even Stingtalk?Read the thread to find the answer
If Deion keeps up at this pace he will pass Jimbo on turning over 25-30% of his roster. Nice guys they are, Jimbo and Deion. These scam artists will both be run off before long.Headline, "NEARLY TWO DOZEN COLORADO PLAYERS HAVE ENTERED THE TRANSFER PORTAL SINCE DEION SANDERS WAS HIRED"
Nearly Two Dozen Colorado Players Have Entered The Transfer Portal Since Deion Sanders Was Hired
Lots of Colorado players have fled for the transfer portal. A total of 23 players have entered the transfer portal under Deion Sanders.www.outkick.com
That's a lot of players.
I don't understand the draw of Deion. If I were a QB, I'd rather play for a Heisman winning, national championship winning, coach who played QB.
i dunno that portal page shows 25 transfers in and 23 transfers out.. and guess what.. they are transferring in 1.7M NIL type guys and transferring out 20K NIL type guys.. sounds like an upgrade to me
For sure, but I think that also adds to the “Deion has to be successful this season or else” crowdi dunno that portal page shows 25 transfers in and 23 transfers out.. and guess what.. they are transferring in 1.7M NIL type guys and transferring out 20K NIL type guys.. sounds like an upgrade to me
Is that the new measure? NIL guys?i dunno that portal page shows 25 transfers in and 23 transfers out.. and guess what.. they are transferring in 1.7M NIL type guys and transferring out 20K NIL type guys.. sounds like an upgrade to me
