That's awesome. I'm a firefighter and it be awesome to have a GT fire helmet like that.
They need to give one of those fire helmets to @GTatUSC.

I want the flaming GT as gif....
Incredible ..as in that was a fantastic idea. This is how you pick up a big bunch of people who have no connection to Tech and make them fans.
Sick! Thanks!!!!
I was told Geoff would have us recruiting with the big boys, unlike Paul Johnson. Well, Geoff held his Junior Day and got 0 commits out of it. It's now March and we have 0 commits. Those big boys --like Clemson and Miami -- are knocking on double digit commits right now. But y'all keep making excuses for the guy. He didn't recruit any better at Temple than Matt Rhule did, and none of y'all even know who the öööö Matt Rhule is.
Agree. I keep thinking about the things CPJ used to say, STTE of "If you're playing football at this level and not already motivated, I'm not sure there's much I can say to motivate you." At the time, I thought, that's good sense, based on years of coaching experience. They just never seem to run out of ideas. Never seen anything like it.

Now, I'm like, why weren't we doing all this kind of stuff before? (I assume we weren't, not that we were but weren't publicizing it.) Everyone of these ideas – firemen, Game of Thrones, Waffle House food trucks, internal competitions – seems like something to break the tedium of spring practice and off-season workouts, to inspire everyone to try extra hard, to be just that little more attentive to what's being taught.
Of course, the proof is in the pudding... but overall, CGC seems like a darn good *teacher* – which fundamentally is what coaches are. I'm amazed he's keeping the excitement level so high throughout all this.
If he pulls off an upset in Death Valley (I know, I'm way ahead of myself), we should give him a Hewitt-style infinite rollover contract. (j/k)
