For full context for the Geoff Collins Cult, he was 15-11 at Temple, who has since gone 4-11 the last 2 years with Geoff Collins’ upperclass recruits.

You dick lickers are murdering Tech football continuing to make excuses for this ass hat.
Not to defend Clown, but I think a lot of the guys he left for Carey at Temple bolted.

Referencing his success at Temple.

Clowns are gonna clown.

TStan needs to sit down with him and a Public Speaking consultant, and straighten up some frustrating things that he keeps doing.

You can't mention past success(es) while we keep having WTF moments.

He needs to own the screw ups and start being a straight shooter with his stakeholders, us the Fans.

Talk directly to us, just sack up and take ownership of things

He is an insecure, defensive little bitch of a man. Plain to see with these pressers. And TStan is one dumb öööööööööööö who got duped. God help GT football.

I kind of feel sorry for him. He had a big dream and it is turning into a nightmare before his eyes. It is like he is beginning to see he is in way over his head.

What I don't get is this. His philosophy is to recruit the best players possible and put them on the field. Why doesn't he put any effort into recruiting coordinators?? He wants 4&5 star players; but he'll settle for FCS level coordinators. Seems really odd.

I could see the plan being to remove more than just the coordinators, which I'm not sure is something you'd do during the season.

It's been obvious for a long time he's loyal to a fault. This goes for how he approaches both his players and coaches.

He shouldn't say "hats off to #72, he battled, etc....."

What he should be saying is that there's a certain expectation when you play at the P5 Level and we need to Play at that level, we can't get pushed in the backfield, we can't have that bad snap, etc.

CGC has to start owning the screw ups, we saw the screw ups, don't gloss over anything by saying " we fought really hard......."

I'm tired of hearing "we fought really hard......"

Just own what is going on!

The NCAA artificially caps the value of Players at Tuition, Room and Board, Books, & incidentals, you can talk a player into coming to play easier than you can talk a grown man with a family to do the same Job for less money at GT

Asst Coaches operate in a Free Market, so he ain't settling for FCS coordinators, that's the best we can afford

It’s weird people don’t get this.

Since I can remember watching Tech football we have had:

Pat Watson, Ralph Friedgen, BOB, Pat Nix, John Bond, Paul Johnson, and Patenaude at OC. At best two of those guys were actually in-demand and at best two were good during their tenures.

Dave Huxtable, Randy Edsall, Ted Roof, John Tenuta, Dave Womack, Al Groh, Roof again, and Thacker at DC. One of those guys was actually good.

We’re batting like 3/14 on good coordinators in ~25 years.

I don’t think it’s unfair to say we’ve only had two good DCs (Tenuta and O’Leary) and two good OCs (Fridge and Johnson) since 1990 and that the only time we were good at both we won a national title.
