I’m sure there are things he would do better if he could go back in time. But he came in an immediately won more games than we had the previous 7 years and beat UGa.

I have no idea if he could have used his early success to demand more program money or facilities. I would guess he did that pretty regularly. Then DRad took off to a school that would do it and he was replaced by a wet sock. I don’t know all the things PJ could have done, but sure, I’ll concede he could’ve done more.

But for what he walked into, I don’t think anyone could have done better. Hard to bitch at him for not recruiting better when he was being outspent two to one by friggin Duke.

I had no problem with anything but this. He inherited a roster that was very talented. It isn't like he walked into a roster like this year. He could not keep the party rolling with his own players.

Not year in and year out. That’s for sure. But, dang, if our budget would have allowed the recruiting staff, etc. to give him a better chance to keep the party rolling with his own players...

He was definitely blessed with the highest ranked recruiting class of this century, and he won the ACC with it.

I guess the argument is he/we should have continued to recruit at that same level, and maybe that’s true. But that recruiting class was more of an anomaly than a norm. And maybe the guy responsible for it is our current coach. I’m all for giving him some time to bring in top ten classes and it’ll be great if we dominate the ACC every year.
 
So FKN tired of hearing how great Temple's roster is. Roster talent has nothing to do with the sh+t show he puts on every Saturday. This staff fails to prepare this team to play on Saturdays and continues to mismanage and gets out coached every week. Just curios, has CGC hugged his players coming off the field after every a$$ drubbing or does he save that for national televised games only? Asking for CPJ.
