It shouldn’t matter. “Teams won’t be punished for playing in a championship game”
My point is, they’ve made a statement on this, but they won’t stand by it for an ACC or B12 team.
 
Watch Clemson win and Army jump them for #12.
 
I can’t imagine how intense and focused this winter’s training is going to be for our team. I think these coaches and players are 100X more pissed than we are. Kings comments and tone in his brief post game comments last week said it all and captured my sentiments so perfect. Kyle’s simple, “we’re gonna get them boys” was well put. I think there is going to be a hyper focus next year. No more playing down to shit opponents and rising up to good opponents. The same level of intensity every week. Stepping on throats and not letting off the gas. That’s the next leap for this team and it feels imminent. Sorry for derailing this thread. I’m warming up for this thread next year. I need to get some smart phone compatible gloves. Gonna be cold af when I’m posting from CLT next year.

I think it’s all for show and we will get some true rankings next week. I’m 50/50 on it, but I still think the Tuesday playoff rankings are just for ratings and viewership.

You think Miami would be in, and SMU gets knocked out for losing the championship game that Miami didn’t make it to? Man, that would be an even bigger stain on what is already a disgusting system.

Perhaps you forgot the defense forgot to show up for the first half of the Cuse game, most of the Louisville game and VT is horrible. We won’t know but many have said King was hurt in the UNC game. Two of those losses came before then.

I am also suggesting the team improved over the year. Defense by a good margin.

I hate the system too, man. But SMU doesn’t have the whole Miami “swag” that these “experts” use to vote teams in. SMU is new to power, how many now, and Miami is Miami. I can complain for years about the unbalanced schedule, but I think some will see SMU got a little lucky.
 
If Clemson wins then it comes down to 4 teams for 2 slots:

Indiana 11-1
SMU 11-2
Miami 10-2
Bama 9-3

Indiana should be in.
Bama is currently ranked ahead of Miami so doubt Miami will jump them. Miami is out.

SMU or Bama
I’d say SMU but the SEC bias may rear it’s head.

I hope you are right. Clemson and Miami in is better than any combination that includes smu.
