The expansion of the playoff system isn't a function of the ambiguity of the 4-team system, its a function of the ROI of the 8-team system. In other words, its a matter of time.

In terms of relevance, yes. In terms of economics - which is what drives it, no.

I said in early September that the committee would find a way to shoehorn Michigan into the playoff. I was wrong but they have found a way to completely ignore the B1G Championship and funnel tOSu into the Championship using the exact criteria they used last year to keep Baylor out of the playoff.
 
On a side note, I love Penn State's uniforms. Numbers and colors. That's it. The power of simplicity.

Its interesting to me that the same company that designs Oregon's uniforms also designs PSU's uniforms. Unlike Russell, Nike has designers.
