He's certainly been around enough to know how to do it.

Coordinated very successful offenses at ND and was a Broyle's award finalist. Certainly a better resume that Patenaude. I understand he's something of a hardass as well, which I think we need more of.

Not the most exciting hire to be sure, but definitely reasons to think he's an upgrade.

I like it. Players we have recruited were for similar system and concepts. Big time experience calling plays for ND. Former recruiting coordinator with ties to some offensive wizards. We could have done much worse

This is a higher profile hire than Patenaude. He’s apparently known for being a hard ass which is something we desperately need on this team. I’m going to support this hire. Let’s see if they bring in a new qb coach and get those OL and QB transfers for next year. Then we might just be ok.
