Chris to Bama...

If it's not in their heart to be a Yellow Jacket, then don't let the door hit you in the ... on the way out !!!!

Big things are about to hit the flats that haven't been seen in over 15 yrs !!! Get on board, get out of the way, or get run over !!!!!!!

Let me tell you what the GSU recruiting philosophy was: "Son, you're not coming to GSU for a ticket to the NFL. If you're good enough, they'll find you. You're coming here to get a good education, learn about becoming a man and how to live your life and to win NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Sounds a lot like the Jim Grobe philosophy at Wake Forest. Good coaches maximize the talent given to them. How many blue-chipper do the Deacs real in every year? What would a middle-of-the-pack coach do with Wake's talent? Look down the road at what John Bunting did with the same/better players at Carolina...look what Chuckles did at NC State with plenty of Parade All-Americans in the post-Philip Rivers era.

Bottom line. The majority of the time, it still comes down to how the coach (a) builds his team with correct pieces and (b) how he gets said pieces to mold together.

Heh, you do realize the rest of the post was a Saban parody, right?

If PJ is not lying(or mistaken) about how many times he is going to throw the ball, this should only be a problem the first year or two. WRs are only scared because all they have recently to base their decision off of is his track record at Navy. If he throws the ball 15-20 times a game and has good success at Tech, the WR commits will return.

Thank you.

:laugher:

Hell No!

Cause when the going gets tough……..The tough get going!

What the f*** happened to the Jackets I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you beej67, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Saban, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead!

Neidermeyer!.....

Dead! Mustang's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

....and who better to do it than us!

In the end, it's a 17 year old boy making a decision about where he wants to go to college. If any of you are young enough or have kids old enough you know how teenagers are. Cut some slack on him as he is just a young boy falling for the glitz and glam. The real dissappointment is the backstabbing that goes on between the grown adults in the situation.

Then **** him. He doesn't have good enough sense to be a yellow jacket.

QUICK: NAME THE LAST RECEIVER FROM ALABAMA TO STAR IN THE NFL....

Tyrone Prothro would have been all over that action if he hadn't bent his leg about 120 degrees in the wrong direction.

Damn, a lotta hate for a highschool kid. Get over it. BTW, is Tashard Choice a doucebag for leaving OK? How about D. Robertson for backing out of an FSU commitment? What about Jaybo for leaving MTSU high and dry?

I guess it perfectly OK for guys to screw over other programs if they're coming to Tech.

All of our players and commits are paragons of virtue and defenders of Italian virginity. Players that choose other schools over us or decommit are scoundrels and defilers of all that is righteous and good.

Seriously, we are talking about a guy that decommitted from us to go to Bama. That's just a notch.... No, a half a notch off of decommitting from us to go to Ugag. Screw him. I'm just glad we found out what he was all about before he actually enrolled and took a scholarship away from someone who actually wants to come to GT. If he wants to mortgage his future in order to play lotto for a shot at the NFL, god bless him, but don't expect a good tip when your waiting on me at Applebee's in 5 years from now.

The number of you that mortgage your happiness on the decisions of high school seniors is shocking and mostly comical.

Let me assure you that my level of happiness is not affected by the decisions of high schoolers, but you know what has had a large impact on my level of happiness? Getting a top notch education from one of the best colleges out there. Yes, my GT education put me on a career path that has led to a prosperous life for me and my family and that has made me very happy.

A kid passes over a free education at one of the very best colleges and a virtual lock on being a starter one day to go to a crap school, football factory that represents the very worst of what's wrong with college athletics where he will probably be railroaded into some worthless major by the coaching staff in order to maybe get an extra handful of receptions per season assuming he ever sees the field as a WR. That does not have any impact on my happiness, but there is a very good chance that at some point in his future it will have a pretty dramatic impact on his level of happiness. It actually makes me happy to know that we are not wasting a free GT education on someone that does not place any value on it because if you are passing over GT to go to Bama you clearly do not care about your education. I just hope that the guy who ends up taking his slot does.
