Collins speaks

If Collins truely cared about our football program, he would resign before we become the worst team in Division 1 after next season.
He might be able to drive us into the bottom 5, but let’s be realistic. It’s highly unlikely he gets us to #1. We got rid of Goober, hired what seems like a decent DB coach and OC so plusses there. We did lose Gibbs & Mason but do have Smith and Griffin returning, not sure what we got as far as the OL is concerned, DL is still an issue, Sims is in Year 3 (2 Year 0’s under his belt), some of the high rated WRs have to see the field next year, etc. It’s not out of the realm of possibility we notch that elusive 4th win in Year 4. Just think about how that’s gonna feel getting that monkey off our backs.

I'm not as high on Griffin as others are. We've seen Dontae get loose in his few carries and he's got some wheels. Griffin just never has done a lot. Granted, he's had far fewer opportunities. And he's had to work behind a wretched OL. But so has Dontae.
In 30 more carries, Smith has a 6.1 ypc. Griffin has a 4.1 ypc.
