Commitment

And people like you are the reason our program is getting bigcried into annihilation. You can bigcry as much as you want when we don't have a football program anymore.

Just wait until I start bigcrying the tailgate.

Let's play a game. For just one day let's have arguments in support of Johnson that don't harken back to a bowl game 2 years ago. I don't think it's possible.

It'll be 5 bowlless seasons from now and people will still be bringing up the Orange Bowl from 2014 as why Johnson's offense isn't the problem.

You dumb motheröööööö, you just cited a 2014 game in criticism of PJ

You're taking this troll through the retard floor into uncharted, previously un-tarded levels

Johnson is talking big picture here, and he is right. We are outgunned in every conceivable aspect of football support.

It's also not a wise thing to bring up when you just admitted the other team figured out your playcalls because you were only using one player to signal them in.

I don't disagree.

Technically I cited two games, one in 2014 and one in 2015.

"Whipping his ass"

We almost came back and won the 2014 game, and we lost it on the way to an Orange Bowl victory

You are fully retarded if you think Johnson blames his players more than himself.

Even more in 2014, Duke needed to gator roll JT5's leg to keep us from winning.

Lol ok, well you got me there.

Whatever man. With the way GT football is set up right now, the best we can hope for is one or two good seasons every five or six years. We will never reload on a yearly basis. Bring Saban in, and we will get the same results if nothing else changes.

Are there other coaches that can do what PJ has done? Probably. I doubt theyd want to stick around like PJ has if they had his success. However, the chances of hiring a coach that will do significantly better than PJ (while changing nothing else) are essentially zero.

If you don't believe me, here's the list of realistic, quality targets we had for the last coaching search:

Edsall
Hatcher
Johnson
Muschamp
Neuheisal

Is there any question that Johnson wasn't the best of these? Based on their actual performances, hiring any of those other coaches would have been a disaster.

The man thinks he's a genius. Nothing could be wrong with his offense. It's got to be somebody else's fault. It's the facilities or the academics or the players missing blocks or not enough fans in attendance.
Why do you have to make up crap to complain about Johnson? Can't find enough facts to fuel your hatred?

Not really. We are "ACC Average" in facilities. So we're only outgunned by the top tier. We outgun the bottom tier. We have 4-4 facilities, Clemson has 7-1 facilities.

Assets follow money which follows exciting products. Put something on the field that can create a positive cash flow and you will find you can get a lot more done.

We're bottom tier of the ACC in coaches salary, we have the bare minimum amount of coaches when teams like Bama and Clemson and even FN Duke have an extra 10 "coaching consultants" that help gameplan during the week and scouting HS players.

Maybe because we're bottom tier in coaches performance

1-7 conference play is not deserving of more money
What was our conference record in 2014? You constantly reference last year's 3-9 record but the minute someone brings up 2014 you're all "THAT WAS FOREVER AGO"

So everything should be predicated on last year? We've been near the top of the division every other year of his tenure, and he's been ACC Coach of the Year three times...

PJ didn't want more money in his 2014 extension, he only wanted more for his assistants. He finally asked for more once Bobinski came out his cave with an offer once PJ has sealed 9-win season.

Everything you complain about is completely wrong and/or stupid. It's almost like you never set foot on campus to actually watch a game.

4-4 average ACC record over the past 3 years. That's not "near the top"

So how many of you really believe that not having a barber shop is hurting us?
