My guess is replacements will be named right away, within days of the final game. I suspect recruits are aware of what is going to happen and the new coordinator (s) is already lined up.
 
New DC. If our D is even mediocre this year, we'd be bowling right now. Unfortunately it is awful, and it's definitely not down just to talent.

This team isn't as far away from being decent next year as people think.

Honestly, I would be happy with ~1.2 million investment in coordinators if both sides go. Getting someone exciting (skip holtz pls) would go a long way towards me renewing my season tickets. I’m on the fence right now.

I agree on the defensive side of the ball, however if the O-line isn't shored up exponentially, then we'll be in the same boat IMO.

Last night during Egg Bowl, ESPN kept showing on screen that Georgia has a 97 percent chance of beating us. Then, I saw a Brian Snitker video he did for Georgia, implying the whole state is united for Georgia.

If Georgia embarrasses us and we don't fire Collins, we're saying we've reached the Tulane-LSU stage, and we accept it. There'd be no coming back from that. If Stansbury doesn't have what it takes to do his job, he should be fired along with "his man."

Going along with the current coach if we get blown out is the same as dropping football. We are a total joke. Nobody has any respect for Tech. None. It's time to beat Georgia, fire Collins or drop football.

I don't think the Dwags will embarrass us, though not necessarily because that can't.... Their goal will be to go in, win, and get out with no injuries. This means substitutes will be playing ASAP.... That likely doesn't set up for a GT coach-killing blowout.

In today's P5 CFB Coaching Market, there's no guarantee that $800K gets you a Guy better than PNode, given our OLine troubles.

Just about anyone with P5 Defensive experience will be better than Thacker, he and the Secondary Coaches seem overmatched at this level.
 
After a third straight 3-9 nothing next week is going to excite me. Just go to work. Win at recruiting. Win in managing the transfer portal. Get better in the off season - bigger, stronger, faster,more proficient. Quit trying to use hype to make football fun for the kids in the program. Make playing good football the aim and the reward. Just keep humble, keep a low profile and outwork everybody else.
