If we hire O’Brien, let’s give it a try. The guy has led Penn State and an NFL team. He is only 53 years old. If he wants our job, it means he is hungry to be a head coach and feels he still has something to prove in the game. He understands our football culture. With his past contacts, he could put together an impressive staff.

He is not my first choice. But, could we consider everyone getting behind the next coach, whoever it is? What Key, O’Brien, Chadwell and all others mentioned have in common is that they are all better options than Geoff Collins. We will be better off when the ‘23 season starts than we were this year.

The last would honestly be even worse I feel; it sounds like trying to recapture the magic of the Collins hire before we got to actual games. From that sort of base, I'd genuinely wonder if we'd try and build a staff solely from people with past GT ties if not for the fact that we've probably already burned through most of the ones in the coaching world during Collins' tenure.
