If I considered it illegal, or it caused me any distress, I'd call the cops. It caused me no distress, so it fails the litmus test for illegality. That does not mean the BeeBad's not a schlong for doing it.
To me one email or pm does not constitute stalking.
To me, using private information against it's intent in order to harass someone is stalking.
I could, for instance, look John Davis up in the phonebook, get his phone number, and call him on the phone to call him an asshole because he posted something I disagreed with on Stingtalk. That would be stalking. Even if it was only once. And even if it wasn't legally 'stalking' it's still a pretty lame thing to do.
ESPECIALLY if he had an unlisted number, and you had to go through a private internet database to get it.
If someone at your phone company got your personal info and used it to send you a letter calling you an asshole, they'd be fired.
If someone at your bank used your financial data to get your wife's cel phone number, to call her a bitch, they'd be fired.
If someone at the GTAA used your donation info to show up at your high school reunion to call you a cocksucker, they'd be fired.
AND YET, when BeeBad does it, it's totally fine as far as the Cult is concerned.
