I would never condone such a practice. I asked the Mod on BO and he said he never stalked you or anyone. Did you just make that up or can you prove he stalked you by posting or pm-ing me his so called stalk pm/email to you.

atlanta jacket, you are ignorant if you think bbuzzoff doesn't censor people. There are about 30 posters on this board that they've censored including me. That board is worse than the Hive as far as censorship goes.

If you don't think they do, then either 1.) you are ignorant or 2.) stupid and don't understand the definition of the word "CENSOR". I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you are not stupid so you're probably just a little ignorant of the ways of that board.

Help me understand something here. If you truly believe the above, and I agree with what you said above.... then how the hell do you defend buzzoff? Seriously man, that is one jaded perspective.

We could all try and follow this a little bit better, and I'm the first one to admit that, but frankly so much of our fan base seems to be made of people who want nothing more than to tear down GT. That's who I have a problem with.

Judging from that, you are not a person I'd want to be around children.

You were right about Gailey only in that he wouldn't win a championship and beat Uga. You were wrong in just about everything else you accused him of.

i didnt have to pay anything for my undergrad. between Natl Merit and other awards, i got a free ride.

the players are not just getting a "free education" they are doing extra work too. or did you sweat for hours during practice and get bloodied and not be able to go out with friends or study because you have a meeting to go to??

they are NOT getting paid. all the hope scholars get more than the athletes do. they get free classes, but also additionaly responsibilities

fringe benefits? like what? like getting your name in the paper if you get arrested (wouldnt happen to a regular student) dealing with professors that treat you like an idiot BECAUSE you are playing sports? there are just as many downsides as upsides, dont kid yourselves

i am sick of hearing garbage from people like you that think its all fun and games to be an athlete at Tech. it is HARD AS ****. i bet you couldnt do it, with all the commitments. to claim that they are getting paid, when they typically cant use any money to do anything they WANT to do rather than HAVE to do is a joke

Buzzczar, you are right on. Being a scholarship athlete at a major university, especially GT, takes a very special person. I am in awe of one who can juggle the time required for the classwork with the time it takes to perform at a top level. I dang sure couldn't do it.

If one considers their scholarships as pay, then I would guess they are making about $2.76 an hour. But that doesn't take into consideration what their participation in college athletics give back to the school in revenue and recognition.

Technically speaking, it would be an attack. In order for it to be the truth, you would have to know for a fact that the person has an IQ of 25 or under AND a mental age of 3 years or less. I'm pretty sure you're going to have trouble coming across too many of them in daily life.

On the other hand, you might could try Moron. They're only borderline retarded (51-70), can handle menial tasks, and can communicate adequately.

I know, I know. Sometimes being the smartest is a curse, but, once again, I am CORRECT.
