So I'm guessing the win yesterday hurts the "Big Four" argument we hear around here?
Nah, they'll just pick a different 4.

Can't really fault Jeune because Marshall's throws are all over the place. If I'm not mistaken, he underthrows more balls than he overthrows.
eh defenses are trying to keep out stuff to the inside too...not too much stuff available for the A-backs right nowMarshall is a faster, more elusive Tevin Washington who doesn't pitch the ball as much as he should on triple option reads. Their passing prowess is about the same.

It was 2-6 until last seasonI mean. Johnson still only has a 4-6 record against VPI. Let’s not start whacking each other off just yet.
FTFYVT fans are correct about the play calling at the end. I would have gone for the first down on a run on third then taken 4 shots at the endzone. Of course, we would have gotten called for PI on one of those, and VT would have it 1st and goal from the 2 for the victory!
That was literally our only play when I played HS ball. Only it was on one, because we would öööö it up if it was on two."Don't öööö up on two" ready.....break
Only if they were playing in the NFL...FTFY
Two teams in the ACC have a better winning percentage against VPI than Georgia Tech since 2010.I mean. Johnson still only has a 4-6 record against VPI. Let’s not start whacking each other off just yet.
Uh, no. NFL places it on the one. College places it on the 2.Only if they were playing in the NFL...
I remember reading CPJ's lips on a QB sneak play when one of our tackles moved early. He said something along the lines of "Are you just stupid?"That was literally our only play when I played HS ball. Only it was on one, because we would öööö it up if it was on two.

Guess which two.
Clemson and Florida St
Five teams in the ACC have a worse record against VPI than Georgia Tech since 2010.
UVa (0-6); Duke (2-4); NC St (0-2); UNC (2-4); and WFu (1-2).

True story.?
It's a fifteen yard penalty in college, not a spot foul.
If it occurs in the endzone, it's placed at the 2.?

Not if it is a 30 yard pass or anything like that. PI is 15If it occurs in the endzone, it's placed at the 2.
Just found the rule. Yeah it would've been a 15 yarder because LOS was the 32. The rule is if the LOS is between the 17 and the 2, and PI occurs inside the 2 yard line, the ball is placed on the 2. It's not half the distance in that scenario. Not if it is a 30 yard pass or anything like that. PI is 15
Sure. It’s an easy way to injure the defender. The fact that we’re arguing over one of the reasonable chop block calls weve gotten in the past ten years is a little weird.I disagree. Guard fired out and is on the ground. Center blocks his guy over the guard. Yes there was high and low contact but it was more incidental low contact than anything.
It was more like the “push person over the kneeling person behind him” prank than a chop block. Is that still a chop?
In the words of Robert Burton’s Anatomy of Melancholy, “Diogenes struck the father when the son swore.”My daughter was at the Auburn game. I explained to her when she asked how our game went that we should have won by 21, but ended up having to rally from behind to win by 6. She said "Sounds about like Tech"
