Ding Dong... MBob's gone!

Is curry still breathing? Then obviously that is the choice. He is a "Tech Man", has no experience, so that makes him more attractive.

We have lost 2 quality ADs due to lack of support.

And we still have those thinking the way to improve is add navy, Elon, and mercer.

I see a Yow coming.
 
No way on Curry. We need an AD that is willing to put it all on the line to win football games. If it takes a wiffle ball field, then so be it. Lawn Darts, Bowling, Laser Tag (which I didn't know was still a thing), putt putt golf with a windmill hole, bumper boats.....We need to let football players know they will be coddled at GT like no other school can coddle them

CPJ, in his own way? 2 ADs now gone in his 14-24 / 58% winning tenure.

I think MBob did his best under circumstances.

Mainly people just want someone to blame as college athletics get more professionalized and Tech falls behind as we are unwilling to up the ante for a variety of reasons.

MBob did nothing to promote GT athletics. I never saw a thing. It is tough being a GT fan. We seemed to move forward under the previous administration. We just kinda did nothing under MBob.

And Johnson will have to worry if we get a young aggressive AD. Hopefully, this will light a fire under our team. We should be one of the best teams in the ACC, year in and year out.

We also need a party bus to transfer the boys to away games.
 
Curry could rally the troops and raise money but not sure I trust his judgment at all times.

There has to be a young, smart, aggressive associate AD out there somewhere that is really running the show behind an AD's back that really wants a the lead role. We must find this person.

I'm not sure he was even that persuasive.

When your primary experience is in BB, there is zero reason to have Vandy poach you coaching target. Not when you are in Atl and the ACC.
 
As soon as I read the ESPN alert on my phone that MBob was leaving for Purdue, the song "Tootsie Roll" started playing in my head.
