Hopefully we have a 4 TD lead and can rest the starters in the 4Q, but Bowling Green and BC should tell you that we aren’t good enough to get cute with teams we “should” beat. Especially given that we’re an underdog to UVA.

Good point. Virginia is used to losing and it’s easier for them to respond when they are having a losing season. This is new ground for Clemson, so there is always the possibility of the team quitting, pointing fingers etc.

Plus UVA seems to be on the upswing lately, and we historically play poorly in Charlottesville.

since 1992 we've only won 2 games in C'ville and have lost 3 in a row to UVA haven't beat them since PJ was coach and people on here want to rest some of our best players

If Haynes is hurt - and there are reports he was on the sidelines not in uniform at the end of the game - then Dontae stands to get a lot more work going forward.

I don’t recall seeing him out of uniform, but he was definitely in the tent and went from there to locker room.

I'm pretty sure I saw him in plain clothes on the field when I jumped down from the stands.

The total yards column is also wrong, should be 356. 46 carries for 356 yards would be 7.7 ypc.
