Seriously? A board of Tech men and no one else notices that the sum is incorrect on the attempts column? The mistake is driving me nuts

They gave the "team" credit for 2 kneel downs that's why it's 48 not 46

I only remembered 1 kneel down but I was pretty excited and was celebrating instead of watching.

The total yards column is also wrong, should be 356. 46 carries for 356 yards would be 7.7 ypc.

We knelt twice. Usually called team rushes. My guess. Don’t know about the yards difference.

2 kneels for -8; they don’t count against a player but are factored into final stats.

King ran & slid to center the ball before the FG at end of 1st half. Lost 2 or 3 yds on that play. Probably got counted as a kneel as he wasn’t trying to gain yardage.

There’s no such thing as half a yard in football statistics.

Correct. The official scorer counts everything to the whole yard, and starts the down/distance accordingly the next play of account for variance.

maybe d.smith was player CBK referring to as "not buying in" and he finally agreed to buy in and got to see the field. maybe he was injured earlier in season, but then even when he recovered, he still didnt see play time because he hadnt bought in yet.
