DT Mike Lockhart Gone

You’re precious when you get all teary for your man there Princess.
You don't get it, do you, Skippy?
I'm not defending Collins. But Mike Lockhart isn't leaving because of Collins despite what you morons in this thread have said over & over because it fits your anti-Collins rhetoric. The kid is leaving because of academics.

But go ahead and keep posting. It just shows how ööööing stupid you are.

I have to give props to dabuzz because he has tied his self to the anchor and is going down with this ship. There is something honorable about that. This beer is for you, you are probably going to need it!

Nope. I don't think Collins will make it through the season with the schedule we have to play this year. But I've just grown tired of all the pussies on here who do nothing but bitch and complain in every single thread. Even threads where people are trying to make it a positive thread they start their little moaning schticks and it provides absolutely no useful purpose.

So I've decided to be that one asshole who calls them out as the whiners they are, especially when something like this kid comes up and it turns out they were all full of öööö.

But I'll take the beer! :)

It’s not his fault. His mommy left him on the teat too long. He’s one of those 4-5 yo kids who were still teat.

When I want an opinion from a dumbass, I'll ask for yours.
And I expect you're just mad that someone pointed out how much of a whiny little bitch you are.

Lockhart barely played on a bottom of the barrel ACC defense. I won’t shed a tear. Keep trimming the fat. I personally am glad these guys leave before we spend any of our coach’s bandwidth on them during Spring practice.
Our coaches "bandwidth" ain't worth squat!

Look guys he’s having a widdle meltdown because he’s afraid he’s lost his blankey.

Sowy I hurt dabuzz feewings. Maybe a juice box or a cookie will make him bettter?

I give zero damns what a whiny little bitch thinks of me. Keep on though. Better you address me than continue to cause negativity with your incessant whining.

There are rumors (RUMORS, mind you) that they are pissed that Thacker is still there.
This resonates. How CGC, when given a prime moment to radically transform/overhaul staff, did not unilaterally include and part with Andrew has to be a point of concern for everyone on the team. The ones that think anyway. Why is he still here? Why didn't we hire a legit DC? A change. New blood. Something to be jazzed about. A fresh start. I'm starting to wonder if we even win 3 games this year.

Yeah this ain't great. But I have to wonder if the new hires' more hard-nosed approach is part of this.
Had a friend meet him a few weeks ago, he actually liked the new coaches and their approach. So my guess is we have to survive this season and get a coach that people will respect instead of clown.

It seems to me Chip Long and a few of the other new coaches have a more direct no nonsense approach. This is a very different style and the players may not like / appreciate it.
I don't know this for sure. I do know its very difficult to change the leadership style from a laid-back style to a hard nosed approach.

Jamie Chadwell or Jeff Monken (omg nOt ThE oPtIoN!) if you feel you need a name, but the point is we should be actively looking for and interviewing potential replacements. Fire him once spring practice is over if you feel there is some benefit to that. You don't have to elevate anyone on staff, you can fire all of them too. Plenty of people would accept a losing season this fall if we hired a new coach now, that's not unreasonable at all. Half you bozos did that for the current head coach and he got a much better head start on his first season. The point is a new coach brings hope for a change and interest in what the new guy is all about. A new guy can sell his vision like Geef did, and draw in recruits without the baggage of 3 straight 3 win seasons tied to his name. How many recruits do we have chomping at the bit to commit to Geef right now?

Damn you suck at being witty. The teat joke was funny maybe 40 years ago.

This one definitely hurts.

I do not enjoy saying this, but Stansbury and Collins have reduced our once proud football program to being a "farm team" for football programs with competent ADs and good head football coaches.

If this were the best Tech could do, we should drop sports. But, it is not close to the best we can do. In fact, it is the worst we can do.

If everybody wrote President Cabrera (?) and told him they would not contribute one penny to any Tech sports or non-sports fund raising campaigns or buy one ticket to a Tech spitting event until changes are made to the AD and head coaching positions, things woukd change immediately.

We are the people paying the inflated salaries of bad coaches and administrators. We have the power to eliminate this problem and make Tech strong in sports again. If we don't do it, it's our fault.

I have nothing personal against Collins or Stansbury. I hoped they would succeed. I assume they are good people. But, they are destroying something that has been an important part of my life for many decades. Every day they are in their jobs, things get worse. What more has to happen for drastic changes to be made?

Some say we can't afford to make changes right now. I say we cannot afford not to make changes.

9 tackles, 0.5 sacks in 6 games.. 27 tackles in 3 seasons. He was expected to be a significant contributor this year, but obviously, the production so far is replaceable.
Pretty sure he was recruited as a linebacker. Not that it matters - just found it interesting. Not sure how moving from LB to DL works out on average.
