"an opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information"
Unless someone here has all the complete information on what is happening inside the program and with the players involved, then how is anything being said here not conjecture to some degree? I don't pay any subscriptions so I prolly have less information than you if you're shelling out the dough for it, but I'm also not personally claiming any of the ideas posted on here are definitely right cause for the most part we just don't know for sure, so we're all speculating.
I can agree that Carson's opinion that started this probably does not have enough evidence to back up the level of his conviction, but there wasn't anything posted here at the time to prove it was wrong either. The player making statements about "program uncertainty" certainly makes the idea seem more likely without other information. If you came back right away with the "Ackchyally the paid sites say in this case it was cause of grades" then the topic prolly never would of reached this point. If you want to prove someone wrong, just throw in the proof instead of 1 line insults.
I could also theorize that you're full of öööö and lying about paid site info to win a point unless someone else backs you up on that. After all, if you knew for sure it was wrong, why wait til now to say so? I'm not disbelieving you, cause it's a plausible enough reason, but tossing out posts that sound just like it isn't going to engender any trust.
