Early Signing Day is Here

The thing is... with our previous staff, we had classes ranked 36th-50th and that was with 20+ kids in the class. If we have over 20 in this class it will be top 25, possibly top 20. You have to account for transfers now, and many teams don't sign the full 20. The ratings system should probably be updated to either count all players, or count less than 20 since so many teams won't sign 20 now.
Gawd, just imagine where we would be if the naysayers did not feel the need to puff their egos by calling for the firing of a coach that was not going to be fired, this creating a crisis in confidence!! Without that we would not have had defections and would have been able to continue making inroads.

How many were we expected to sign before all of the changes? 7 or 8 at this point in the day seems really low???

He's 20 years old maybe? Give him a break. Sounds like he made an emotional decision without thinking and talking it through with people he trusts/loves. Happy to have him back. Good for him to also probably understand what a degree for Tech means.

Yeah, it’s a young guy in a public position. No need to get butthurt over it. He’s a good back and should do well next season.

Yay our 3rd stringer with a crybaby dad is coming back!
Ackchually, he was our fourth string (and immediately second string now), but we don't know that with the hand-wavy ATL list. He might have been our first string secret weapon that the previous coaching staff mishandled.

In any case, he is a Tech man, who took the time to analyze a difficult situation, and made the correct decision. I welcome him back.

The room was crowded. Mason obviously was a starter and we were going to give Gibbs as many touches as possible also. That left Smith, who is a hell of a back, and Griffin, who, iirc, got injured and moved down the chart.

He needs to come out and play with the fire next season so we are on here questioning why he wasn't a starter sooner.

Pretty much exactly this. Everyone bitched and moaned about different backs not getting enough touches. We now have two highly talented backs, and they're both going to get the ball in their hands 10+ times per game. The OC is going to be good enough to do it in a way that utilizes the skill of the OL that we have, not the OL that he wants so they have some running lanes. Blackstrain is going to be healthy. Sims is going to be healthy all next year. The TE is going to be a game changer for us.

öööö it, we're going to score 30+ per game.

Hope you’re right, but tbh you sound delusional
