Favorite Tech/Clemson game?

1990. I was 9 and my family went to Bobby Dodd as so did my brother (who is a huge Clemson fan) and we took in what was an amazing game that later stood out in one of the best season's in Tech history. That goal line stance at the end of the game was top notch!
 
In person, I'd say the one with Blair throwing the TD pass to Thomas on the fake FG.

On TV, 2004. I still remember sitting down in the mancave watching and brooding about the game. All the sudden, we have a flurry of scoring, the huge stops on defense, and the catch to win the game.

Chris Ries made huge plays on Clemson's short yardage late in that game. Clemson gets a first down, they win. They didn't and fumbled the punt snap and it "totally came of the seams"
 
I'ts too hard to decide. I've been to 4...

'05 - Clemson QB comments after the game that the crowd affected their offense at the end of the game.
'07 - "Thunder and Lightning" completely shut down.
'09 - Roller Coaster of emotion springing us to CPJs first ACCCG.
'11 - Given no chance to win and we straight dominated them.

But if I had started at Tech before '05 I'm sure '04 would have been my favorite. I've watched the replay of the ending several times on youtube - would have been epic even without the birth of a superstar.

I was at the 2004 game with some buddies of mine. I've never seen so many people file out of a stadium in complete silence.
 
2011 - because I was there.

2004 is a close second. Even though I wasn't at the game, I'll never forget where I was watching the game and the reaction I had when they muffed the punt, and the legend of Calvin Johnson was born (as Wes Durham called it).
 
Tie between 2004 and 2009 ACCCG. Both experiences were awesome, but 2004 I was still in college and thus it was more fun.

I was there too in the last row of the stadium in the GT section. About half of the GT fans left. When we scored it was absolute pandemonium running around the bleachers hugging and high fiving random people. It was awesome. Looking back... running around the top of those bleachers drunk was pretty öööö dangerous. That upper level is very, very steep. If you fall, you are tumbling a long way and it'll leave a few marks.
 
'06. My first road game and where I went from "I am a fan of the team of the school I got to" to "Georgia Tech superfan". Made a lot of friends from the AMC rv crew. Had a blast tailgating. Still probably the loudest game I've ever been to, louder than Lane Stadium for sure. Became addicted to road tripping to games.
 
1. 2009 ACC-CG game: Big plays both ways.
Many CLUTCH moments & plays. EPIC win.
Scott Blair career night with CLUTCH FG's.
Morgan beating a double-team for the Sack & Win.

2. 2011: Top 5 Clemson expected to crush us. We TOTALLY gashed that D.
We kicked that tiger-azz up & down the field.

Seeing TW option Clem's big DT #98...right out of his jock for a TD.
 
Only one I've ever been to was the White-Out '09 regular season game when Scott Blair threw a TD pass to BayBay
 
2004. Put my leg in between the metal bleacher and the concrete stands, can't remember if it was after the muffed snap or the catch by Calvin. Walked over Lake Hartwell back to the tailgate with a smile and a completely skinned bloody leg.

1997 against Clemson was my first Tech game in person. Pretty big win at the time.

1999 was brutal but Joe would not be denied. I took my youngest sister with me who was only 12 at the time. She's the only one of my 4 younger siblings (all grew up in Athens) that I was able to turn from the UGA side.

2009 (both) were great games. 2011 would be sweeter if I hadn't overdone it at the tailgate.

Games I wish I could forget: 2001 (I'll always remember the name Woody Dantzler), 2002 (I'll always remember the name Albert Poree), 2003 and 2006 (I'll always remember the name Chan Gailey).

You aren't kidding about that. The upper level at Death Valley is the definition of treacherous.
