Woah, me too. This is also my exact memory of it. Couldn't tell what happened until the tech fans down there were cheering, and the rest of the stadium was silent.
Cool. I think my first reaction was disappointment that Goose had overthrown Watkins. Then the crowd let me know I was wrong. That was a completely unbelievable catch.

'06. My first road game and where I went from "I am a fan of the team of the school I got to" to "Georgia Tech superfan". Made a lot of friends from the AMC rv crew. Had a blast tailgating. Still probably the loudest game I've ever been to, louder than Lane Stadium for sure. Became addicted to road tripping to games.
