FIRE TED ROOF OVER AND OVER AGAIN

When your defense sucks as bad as Tech's, then no, 3 points in one half won't get you the win even though you scored 20 in the other half.

We should've just fired Roof after the first season then we wouldn't have to worry about it.

Who cares if he is playing true freshmen and now having to play guys that haven't even seen the field this year. It is all his fault, and we should've fired him maybe even before the first game. I'm right there with you guys. Should've never hired him. We'd be better off with no defensive coordinator. öööö all of those DCs that weren't banging on our door to coach here.

Cmon Coit...please tell us again those amazing stories of how he won a national championship with Auburn...and how the Auburn faithful have still not recovered from him no longer calling the defense...in fact I think there may be some still on a hunger strike...they absolutely loved him in Auburn didn't they Coit...it is a wonder he isn't their honorary mayor and have a key to the city....cmon Coit let's hear those amazing storys of Ted Roof's coaching prowess.

Which true freshman are you talking about? Walker? Woods?

Nope, our D ööööing blows. 3 pts in a half of football is awesome. 3 ööööing pts should be more than enough to win the ACC.

I know you have a hate boner for CPJ but are you suggesting the D actually did their ööööing job today? Because if you are, you might wanna stop taking the same dementia medicine that Coit is taking.

And öööö you OP for deciding to start your own fire Ted Roof thread. What, mine wasn't good enough for you? You had to have your own special little butthurt banquet over here with your friends?

Keep the hate to one thread, shut this shit down.

Mods!

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. If you fire Ted what do you change that will make the next DC any different from the previous ones?

For that matter the same goes for Paul; fire him, what do you change that will make the next HC any different from the last 5 we've had?

I saw a hustling constantly changing defense. Nothing worked. Unc has an experienced OL and their ab played flawlessly under pressure.

Nope the D blew, as usual. The O did nothing worth talking about either. We ööööing sucked.

Our D sucks for sure but the talent is not there or is green. I'm ready to try break but don't bend and lets catapult a blitzer into the backfield using a cheerleader throw.

We put up over 500 yards and got 24 first downs. We shot ourselves in the foot and it certainly wasn't our best day, but that is a good offensive performance for the majority of teams in America. With even an average defense and a healthy JT, we win that game. Instead, we got our asses blown out. That has become way too common of an occurrence, and needs to be solved one way or another.

20 pts isn't enough to win most games in college football anymore. Had our D not shat the bed and held the Heels scoreless in the 2nd half, we still lose.

I don't begin to excuse our dismal D but 3 pts in a entire half of football is NOT a "good offensive performance". Just like against Miami, 2 horrible TOs by the offense put the game away in the 2nd half (well, the TOs along with Swiss Cheese defense).

When you have a scheme that has your QB running around as much as ours does, injuries are going to be a common occurrence. We need to start playing 2 QBs for the rest of the season so that next year isn't a complete disaster. Whomever CPJ thinks is next year's starter needs PT now, not later. This season is done - time to prep for 2017.

Bama only put up 10 and won

Thing of it is is we need a shut down defense. That only comes through recruiting. Paul Johnson is not into recruiting. He thinks he's still at Navy where you sign up a bunch of great 1 or 2 star kids that nobody else wants and work the American Conference over. This ain't the American Conference and this ain't Navy or 1-AA Georgia Southern. Paul Johnson has yet to grasp the reality of that. He'll actually say something about the Orange Bowl. "Well we seemed to have done pretty good ...." He's been here for what ten years now? And he still doesn't get that you have to recruit competitive talent to compete? The man's looney toons. He thinks he's still at Navy.

Well, we can, but if we do we lose the top two recruits we have had in 9 years. Roof's defense is exactly the same as CPJs other 3 DCs. Can't play defense without players. You think having 10 ABacks, 5 B backs and 5 QBs on scholarship might be a problem.

not quite right but close
