er, he had 6 Srs starting last yr and they weren't worldbeaters then, well, compared to this crew they were

Mostly agree. I actually thought the offense showed some good signs compared to what we saw earlier in the year but did shoot themselves in the foot. We traded a couple of FGs plus a block for TDs and then the damn fumbles including JT getting injured. Mind numbing how many 3 and 6/7's we got them into on D only to blitz ineffectively and then allow a completed pass, largely uncontested, for a first down. D was awful.

Has CPJ ever replaced ANY coach here with someone that was better?

He may have but I can not think of one.

And we trust him to do better next time?

I think it's fair to say that Roof is better than both Wommack or Groh. Wommack actually had pretty good talent and was at least as bad. Groh's D flat out quit on him.
 
Ted Roof was great today, as were the players. Just wish it didn't take 10 games into the season to figure it out. Still, superb effort and win by those guys.
 
We can't cover the dinks and dunks. Our offense crapping the bed early isn't helping things. Need to keep the D off the field
