If Georgie switched from red to green, do any of you doubt that the stadium would be mostly green on gameday fairly quickly? And not just any old green, official Georgie logo merchandise green.

Auburn wears navy jerseys at home. Their fans wear orange. We should be able to figure out wearing gold in the stands while the players wear navy.
 
That should mean we are smarter but apparently it just means we are color-uncoordinated :-)

White pants, gold and blue accent stripes
Old Gold Jerseys, white accent stripes
White Helmets, gold accent stripes

Best we ever looked (no blue stripe though) 1969-1970......

I'm a little of topic again but I gag every time I see our basketball court. Why is Buzz yellow at the center of the court but the lanes are gold. It looks hideous.

I'm not a big fan of Cremins Court. It was cool for a while as a sort of novelty, but now...it's just so busy, I'm just not a fan.
 
Because Buzz's stripes are yellow, not gold? I don't think yellow jackets have old gold stripes.

Buzz is a 'Yellow' Jacket --and a dam* big one at that. I really don't mind the color contrast --Buzz is yellow, the court is gold. At least the Golden Arches are no longer there.
 
I would love it if the fans wore blue instead of gold/yellow. Everyone has a blue shirt, finding the right type of gold is an exercise in futility, and a mass of blue looks better than a mass of yellow/gold/cheddar/orange
