Gosh, I hope we can hold onto our coordinators and HC with that group of schools looking. The way they’ve handled the greatest transition ever will probably make them a hot commodity.
I hope we only lose by 38-3
Most people who join a football message board probably are insane. My money is on these fools: @BeeStorm, @cyptomcat, @ThisIsAtlanta, and @GT flunkout.I got to tell you, you guys are brutal. You can’t be accused of not being passionate for GT football that’s for sure.
What is this about? I don't follow the joke.Miami: Warren Sapp, Ken Dorsey, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Jeremy Shockey sit down for dinner at Prime 112. The table is set for six. The five of them wait 10 minutes, then 15, then 20. Finally, Sapp fires off an impatient text to their sixth, Michael Irvin. "I'm on my way," Irvin replies, "and we're going to need another chair."
If we fire Collins this year there’s not another coach in the country who will pick up the phone when they see it’s GT calling.
It’s not true because I repeat it. I repeat it because it’s true.Constantly repeating this doesn't make it true. The issue is that we expected this see a level of progress that is failing to manifest. If we're all in alignment that one or more coordinators needs to be fired because the product on the field sucks, any coach worth their salt is going to understand why we would also hold their boss responsible.
I think we're all in agreement that Collins will get an extra year by getting a new coordinator, but massive changes are needed. If that coordinator doesn't pan out quickly, Collins will get the boot soon too.
And I agree that one coordinator needs to be fired. Yesterday. It’s not true because I repeat it. I repeat it because it’s true.
What is this about? I don't follow the joke.
Miami:
Michael Irvin finally arrives -- it was a long dinner, plenty of appetizers -- with his guest. "Before you say anything," the Pro Football Hall of Famer bellows, "at least hear the man out." Through the doorway walks Deion Sanders.
So we don’t like our coach placing an emphasis on bullshit marketing, so we want to replace him with Deon Sanders. It is later in the article:
We need to move fast if we want to get Coach Prime.
So we don’t like our coach placing an emphasis on bullshit marketing, so we want to replace him with Deon Sanders.
El oh fricking el!!!
Honestly if you could guarantee me Deion I’d say fire Collins right now. Deion would recruit better and would put butts in the seats.
Not sure if he would coach any better but the bar on that front is quite low.
Would get eyeballs on our team for sure. Some of those eyeballs would be at NCAA offices. But it would be a heck of a ride.
Why NCAA offices?
It’s not true because I repeat it. I repeat it because it’s true.
Well, he is 8-1 so far this season and currently interviewing for the job at TCU.... He would probably pick up the phone to talk if someone from the ATL called.
My post is conjecture? Yet your response is not? It's conjecture, and unsupported conjecture at that. if you have support for this position, by all means please share it.
Respectfully, please explain how holding coordinators responsible is reasonable, but holding their boss accountable for failing in the oversight isn't.
GT fans: “We should be able to get a proven win er with P5 experience!!!”Well, he is 8-1 so far this season and currently interviewing for the job at TCU.... He would probably pick up the phone to talk if someone from the ATL called.
