Want to be a top conference? Win. The darlings of the ACC (Miami, UNC, etc) continue to lose OOC games where eyes are on them. Unless GT and a couple others overtake them by winning consistently, or Miami/UNC/etc get their acts together, this will be an ongoing problem. GT winning in the trenches got people’s attention. We need more of that and less complaining.

This weekend we need Clemson, Miami, and UNC wins. Then don’t wet the bed against non-P4 opponents. That is how you change perception.

It also requires money and fanbases which the ACC lacks due to their having more than their fair share of smaller private schools.

The “best” conferences are full of MASSIVE state schools. The Big Ten especially.
