So you would prefer your season ticket package not include the Clemson game? What these guys said.
Y'all are out of touch if you don't think this plays well with our branding efforts. This will sell extremely well to HS recruits. With a seven game home schedule, it's a no brainer. I would prefer not Clemson unless it becomes permanent, but the benefits outweigh the concerns.
Any game played at MBS will be included in the season-ticket package. So you would prefer your season ticket package not include the Clemson game?
Yes and no. Rent it, yes. It is a home game so GT can charge what they want. Figure average cost of $125 * 70,000 is $8.75 million. CGC will sell this to recruits and the GTAA can use the money. How do you make money in the dome? Wouldn’t you pay to rent it and then have to split the ticket money with the other team?
The same people who won't pay $200 For season tickets will pay $125 for 1 game?Yes and no. Rent it, yes. It is a home game so GT can charge what they want. Figure average cost of $125 * 70,000 is $8.75 million. CGC will sell this to recruits and the GTAA can use the money.
Yes. Tennessee game was more than that. For ND, Tickets in 2006 were going for much more. Also, each MBS club seat holder will have the option to buy their seats but those will likely be $250/$300 each. The same people who won't pay $200 For season tickets will pay $125 for 1 game?

All this damn crying. How about show up to the damn games. BDS is magical? Lol. It can be when you guys get your butts in the seats. A game in the Benz should never be a “neutral site gm” especially if we are talking about making the 404 ours and taking over Atlanta

2006 vs Notre Dame was huge on campus and in BDS and you're going to take that away? Or another game that sells out BDS? It's a bush league move. If it really is all about some urgent need for revenue, hopefully this announcement opens some wallets.
2006 vs Notre Dame was one of the best sports atmosphere I've ever been a part of. A packed BDS under the lights is truly a great experience.
And yes, I realize we rarely, if ever, pack BDS anymore, but if we take away the few games that have the opportunity to (we play ND at home once in a blue moon, people will show up for it), we never will.
