I know he had a longer run... I was referring more to the "some guy named Milroe" part.

Probably to many. He was a top 10 qb prospect coming out of HS and most CFB fans in the southeast pay attention to the top teams and know about them. He got flushed out of the pocket and had a wide open field to run because the defense was back in coverage. Your post suggests that Arkansas just has a trash D because they let "some guy" get a longer rush than Gibbs and gave up a long run last week, therefore making his runs not very impressive either. He had to read blockers, make cuts and then outrun everybody. He split defenders on one of his runs with his quickness. Is he a household name in Georgia?
Arkansas also gave up a 60+ yard run to Devon Achane the week before.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? 3 of those runs and 2 of those players were for Alabama. They could do that to anybody. Says nothing about Arkansas.Arkansas D has given up 4 runs of over 50 yards to 3 different players on 2 different teams the past 2 games. If that continues the DC might be looking for a job at the end of the year. Most people have trouble naming the second string QB on their own team, much less a team in another conference.
So, he averaged less than 3 yds/carry on his other attempts behind an elite high level OL?

Selfish bastards gonna selfish bastard. Instead he has Zero degrees and ain’t played a snap in the NFLIt looks like had about 1,200 rush+pass yards at Alabama (2022) and GT (2021). He could have been part of turning Tech around here...
He cashed a much bigger NIL check though for his troubles.Selfish bastards gonna selfish bastard. Instead he has Zero degrees and ain’t played a snap in the NFL
Nil< 1,000,000 is not beating out a Tech DegreeHe cashed a much bigger NIL check though for his troubles.
Nil< 1,000,000 is not beating out a Tech Degree. He is being mocked in most places at the end of the 1st round and he played in meaningful games while cashing checks. Hard to argue with the decision to leave.
If he gets into NFL, no hurry for a degree. He can finish that later.Nil< 1,000,000 is not beating out a Tech Degree
I think he would have been projected about the same here.He is being mocked in most places at the end of the 1st round and he played in meaningful games while cashing checks. Hard to argue with the decision to leave.

There it was easy to argue
A guy like Gibbs that is going to be a 1st round draft pick was never going to use a GT degree. He is from this day and every day forward going to live off name recognition and Alabama All-American is much better name recognition.Nil< 1,000,000 is not beating out a Tech Degree.
