Gibbs got Collins fired

As bad as our OL has been, if your goal is to make the NFL as an RB you’ll want a team that can make some holes for you to showcase your talent. This is another reason why the offensive line is the foundation of great teams. Buy some linemen and watch every other offensive position player fill in at better quality.

With Choice gone and the direction the program was going I don’t blame him for doing what is right for him. He should have gone to Bama in the first place but Collins got to him first.

The guy will be set for life from playing football. He doesn't need some middle management engineering job to pay the bills.

Seriously. If you go to a football factory and become a household name you can sell insurance and make bank the rest of your life doing basically nothing.

Do we have any details on what NIL deals Gibbs got?

For some reason my mental image of that is Collins pulling up in a white windowless van with "free candy" scrawled on the side.

I don't think Gibbs is a household name in Alabama though.

You gotta stop digging up your ex’s bikini pictures on Facebook and crying while rubbing one out.

Time to move on.
I agree but your profile picture is still your ex in a bikini, so may want to change that…..

What is he? An "all-purpose player." Whatever the öööö that is.

An NFL running back? :rotfl: A slot receiver? No. A return specialist? Maybe.

He's Fool's Gold.

He's Fool's Gold.

He's a player that averaged over 100 yards per game and scored ten touchdowns last season. I don't have any particular love for him but the guy is a very good college player.

I'm not sure he'll be a fantastic NFL player, but Georgia Tech doesn't play in the NFL -- so if Jahmyr Gibbs is fool's gold, then I hope Coach Key goes prospecting for pyrite to complement Pyron this offseason.

Yea. He had 12 50+ yard plays in 18 games for us despite playing for an idiot coach, behind a terrible OL, with inaccurate QBs, and on atrocious ST units. I doubt we have 12 more of those plays total during the post CPJ era.

he models his game after Kamara....i think he will be every bit as good
No way. No WAY. He is not nearly the running back that Kamara is. Not strong enough. Not enough sand in the loafers. When Tech and Bama tried to run him between the tackles, it was not pretty.

Shut up, he has 1500 all purpose yards the last 2 seasons
Gibbs finished 20th in the country in "all-purpose" yards last year. And over 200 of those yards were empty calorie kick return yards. He was 61st in the country in rushing. With Alabama and Nick Satan and a Heisman QB keeping defenses honest. Wow.

But no wonder you think he's so ööööing awesome. He's Fool's Gold, and you're a fool.
