Gibbs was incredible today

Gibbs divorced us. This thread is like celebrating when your ex-wife has great sex with some new man.
Beating the mutts would be like her getting remarried so you don't have to pay alimony any more. Other than that, her ööööing is not really relevant. Last night was like you thought you still had a chance to reduce the annoyance, but she got thumped and now propsects look bleak.

Gibbs was phenomenal in the epic Bama vs Tenn game. He was the best player on the field considering two teams loaded with future NFL all pros. Oh what could have been. öööö you collins. öööö you.
He would have transferred regardless. Bama offers too many “intangibles”.

Lots of butthurt children in this thread and every other Gibbs thread.

If Gibbs was your son, you would have told him to leave too. Or else you would have been a fool. It was clearly the best thing for his career.

For all the idiots making marriage analogies, a team isn’t a family - but Tech wasn’t pulling their weight in the “relationship” either.

It really stings to watch what would have been our RB version of Calvin Johnson play for Bama and look like the clear best player on the field every game, but suck it up buttercup. The only solution is for Tech to get better and get the next Gibbs.

then go to the Alabama board and discuss him. He quit on us and should be forgotten.

Gibbs stuck with GT during a recruiting process when Bama, UF, OSU, etc. all came on to him late in the recruiting process. He played two years behind an offensive line and in an offensive system that wasn't making good use of him. He had the opportunity to go play for a program that would highlight those skills and he is getting publicity for it now. He has a shot at being a 1st round pick. I doubt he has that same experience at GT. Good for him. It was a good decision. Hopefully we'll get to the point where we have a competent OL that can keep talented RBs. I'm not mad at him and am glad he is doing so well. His ability to cut and make people miss in the open field is fun to watch.

At least the second time announcers have said as much about Gibbs during big games.

Gibbs is a great player. He had better games the previous 2 though. Last night he was just good. Tenn figured out how to limit him and he did have a crucial dropped pass.

Gibbs is NFL good in the open field and as a receiver. Not sure about between the tackles. I althought he was a good player but he is doing better than I expected at Bama.

But he was not the best player on the field. He is not the best SEC RB in recent history. That would include Chubb, Henry, etc.

He would have been an early round NFL pick from GT. The Bama experiment might push him up a round or allow him to skip the combine but NFL talent doesn’t fall between the cracks. He is and will win a lot more games at Bama this year.

He's the most dynamic back in SEC since Kamara.

How many times did the announcers mention that he was a transfer from Tech?
They mentioned he was in the ACC last season and then switched topics so fast you would have thought they had just spoken Voldemort's name in HP.

I guess we will have Gibbs thread every week for the butt hurt juice crew guys; but I can tell you as a straight up fact living in Alabama, I don't hear near the praise for Gibbs from the Bama fans that I hear for him on here.

Gibbs made the best decision for himself. He left a program that was floundering, for a program who competes for CFP NC’s every year. Not a single person with the opportunity to make themselves into an NFL 1st round pick would pass up that opportunity. The ill will and butt hurt in this thread by adults is pathetic.
