Gibbs was incredible today

Personally, Gibbs is my favorite player in college football. I'll watch every bama game this season, and hope he rips UGA for 200 yards. He came to Tech with MUCH bigger options available, he could have flipped, but he didn't out of loyalty. He stayed for a couple of years with a clown coach, and bolted when there was no light at the end of the tunnel.

Tech fans who hate Gibbs for leaving just don't care about the kid or his future.

Can't wait to see him in the league.
“Care about the kid or his future” haha. Implying his future here was questionable. You sound like you’re in the middle of a parasocial relationship. Gibbs doesn’t give a öööö about you, stop white knighting him. I only have a limited amount of öööös to give and quiet quitters don’t make the cut.

Lol it's clowns like you that crack me up. I'd like to see everyone reach full potential and get maximum value. Gibbs wasn't going to get that at tech with Collins. Staying at tech would likely cost him millions. You ööööers öööö on gibbs for leaving, but pray for the next big dick stud to leave his school and come here

Really? Alabama has had more first rounders than GT? Wow...learn something new every day. Calm down Francis. The subject was Gibbs, a pretty much consensus NFL talent and probable 1st round caliber pick day one. Whether or not transferring to bammer and playing in the sEc rather than the ACC, for a player of his caliber and position, equates to a higher or lower draft position is a completely subjective proposition at best. Whether he's #5 or #12 will be much more dependent on the specific teams who own those positions and their roster positional needs than if he finished out at GT or OSU or TX or Sanford or West Virginia or yes, even bammer. Checkers and chess...lol.
Tell us you don't know öööö about NFL drafting without telling us you don't know öööö about NFL drafting.

Yes, that is how it works. If they quit and leave they can öööö off, and anyone coming in is welcome. So you do understand the premise.

In your tardtopia no one that could go to a bigger program should come to Tech because they wouldn’t be able to maximize their potential. Sounds like a winning proposition to me

I don't think most posters here fault Gibbs for leaving and going to Bama; but trying to sell 'loyalty' as one of his virtues is a bit silly and futile here. He quit on GT last season the last couple of games, it was obvious, and ran out on his teammates to pursue his own self-interest. There are still people here that are chaffed at Bill Curry for leaving for Bama; so don't expect us to follow Gibbs the rest of his career like we are his 'loyal' baby momma.

Gibbs is a very good player who will play on Sunday (unless disaster strikes). But he is not the greatest player the SEC has seen in 17 years, or the greatest player on the field this past Saturday. He is not even the best player Bama has seen in 17 years or the best player on Bama's offense. That is not a slight to him, or a sign everyone here hates him; it is just being realistic.
Context clues: I'm talking about him not flipping during recruiting when the big dogs came calling. That's loyalty in my book. I personally was shocked he didn't flip.

If you think he quit in the last two games, I'll say the ENTIRE TEAM quit. You don't get smoked 100-0 without a öööö load of quitters.

No one said he's the best sec player in the last 17 years, not even the announcer (listen carefully). But that kid is every bit as great as Bryce, his feet, speed (hit a faster top speed last week than any player this season, college or pro). IMO He's clearly the most athletic and fastest and most gifted player on the field in every game (including Bryce) and has a higher NFL ceiling than Bryce.

You ain’t gonna last long around here, buddy. Might want to call it a day in this thread.

So in your turdtopia, calvin Johnson can öööö off because he left early to go to the NFL? Got it.

And yeah, if a kid could start at bama, he shouldn't come to tech. I swear, Some of you people can't be smart enough to have graduated from tech...

Leaving for the NFL or graduating isn’t “quitting”, nor is retiring for medical reasons.

Nice try, though.

Loyalty...right. Full retard. I'm almost done with your troll game, you can go back to whatever SEC worship rock you crawled out from when you started posting in this thread whenever you're ready.
