We all realize that we had like a 0.01% chance of winning on that play, but running out of bounds reduces that to 0%. I’ve literally watched UVA score the game winning TD against us on a hook and ladder play on the last play of the game. You miss 100% of the chances you don’t take.

He was scared of getting hurt so he was playing tentative.

Sims is checked out. He knows the line can’t protect him so he’s checking himself out early so he won’t be injured for the combine. We won’t see him much for the remainder of the year.

He’s not wrong. That one play isn’t what cost us the game. There were at least 20-something other ööööty plays he made that were more impactful.
