Basically, assuming UM and FSU win, it has to be Texas in the 4th slot because the games have to matter and they beat Bama soundly at the beginning of the year.

If Michigan loses and FSU wins, then Washington, FSU, Texas, Alabama.

If FSU loses and Michigan wins, then Michigan, Washington, Texas, Bama

If they both lose, then The Dawgs have a chance. Can’t have this. Washington, Texas, Bama and either Georgia or Michigan get in. With a loss to Iowa, the Dawgs would get the nod.
