Any reason not to? What are they gonna do, leave after being there for one year? Guess it would faster than the FU the SEC gave to TAMU.

But yeah this is part of the criticism people directed at Texas and OU when this was announced. They won't be kings of the castle anymore, they'll just be another SEC team.

To add, I could see them giving a verbal FU ahead of the announcement to advocate for SEC teams getting in over Texas and then retroactively claiming them as SEC after the committee selects Texas anyway.

Just need 1 of FSU or Michigan at this point IMO. Texas beat the SEC Champ, so they're in at #4 at 11-1 with a close loss to #14. Bama and Washington are both in. Just need 1 more, and either Michigan or FSU can be undefeated conference champs tonight. UGA is neither undefeated, nor a conference champ.

If both Michigan and FSU win, Texas gets hilariously left out.
