Godspeed Bama, FSU,Texas and Michigan

How do you know who the best teams are? By playing %&$#ing games. On fields, with points. Not between your ears with the retarded "eye test" like it's a beauty pageant.
UW and Penix have legit offense. That dude is a dart thrower. I would not count them out against anyone.

You don't know a damn thing.

This thread will still be here next month...

Against the #1 team in the country with the #1 defense in the country. Have you watched that game? I doubt it. Michigan hasn’t exactly moved the ball well. FSU beat UofL by 10 (16-6) against a team who gave up 38 to bad Pitt and Kensucky teams.
I til the next poll comes out uGA is the #1 team.

you either want the best teams in the playoff or you don't.. Washington is a joke.
They played the schedule given to them. The same committee ranked Orgeon 8th and 5th, and Orgeon State 12th, and USC 24th. How many top 10 wins did Bama and uga have combined? Sec gets an automatic bid because the media has hyped the conference for two decades and the last decade the conference has been propped up by a single team? The same conference that had lsu get lit up by FSU? The same conference whose pillar lost at home to Texas? I’m not buying it.

The whole point is finding out. Playoffs are about telling us who the #1 best team is, not rewarding the seemingly-best-4 with second chances. If we already got answers during the season, the committee has no business asking the question again because they think they might get a different answer this time.

Don't like the argument that FSU's offense was terrible in the ACC Championship Game therefore they aren't one of the 4 best teams. If their offense was pretty good in most of their games, who's to say it won't be better in their next game? They'll have their #2 QB back and Louisville didn't have a bad defense either.

Maybe I'm naive but I think the Committee will choose the teams that cause the least controversy. Those are the 3 P5 undefeateds and then either Texas or Bama. Since Texas beat Bama I think Texas is probably less controversial.

I think you're both right. Is Bama probably the best team? I think so. I also know the burden is on the "best" teams to deliver on the field when it counts. The gaggers would claim to be "better" than Washington and FSU and probably Michigan too. They thankfully didn't deliver though, so öööö 'em.

Iowa’s defense is much better than Louisville’s, but FSU actually had more offensive yardage than Michigan did tonight.

SEC champion should get an automatic bid until some other conference proves it is better.. The puck-10 has been a joke for a decade or more.. they deserve nothing. NCAA knows Alabama will win it again and they fear it..
Sec had a losing record vs P5 out of conference opponents. They were 4-6 vs the ACC. What proof do they have that they are the best conference?

Last year and the years before that shouldn't have anything to do with rankings this year especially the way the college game is today with all the transfers and yearly roster changes.

If FSU doesn't get in, then what is the purpose of the football season? If an SEC starting QB went down all we'd be hearing about is how they have been fighting through adversity while still winning games. öööö this biased BS.
