If FSU doesn't get in, then what is the purpose of the football season? If an SEC starting QB went down all we'd be hearing about is how they have been fighting through adversity while still winning games. öööö this biased BS.

This is one reason why I think a 12 team playoff is too many. It will devalue some of these conference championship games. UGA would’ve just rested their starters today. 6-8 teams would be ideal IMO.

There is no need for the conference championship games with a 12 team playoff, at least not for the ACC, Big 10, Big XII, and the SEC.

There’s no scenario where uga can get in. Even ESPN gave up on them. They’re trying to lobby for FSU being left out for Bama to get in because they know they can’t push Texas out for Bama.

I think Michigan is the best team by a bit of a margin, and the rest of the teams in the top 10 or so are pretty even this year. Therefore, resume should win out in determining the last 2 spots, leaving the SEC out.

I think you're both right. Is Bama probably the best team? I think so. I also know the burden is on the "best" teams to deliver on the field when it counts. The gaggers would claim to be "better" than Washington and FSU and probably Michigan too. They thankfully didn't deliver though, so öööö 'em.
