Godspeed Bama, FSU,Texas and Michigan

all P5 conf champs should be in (can you imagine “resting your starters” in the conf championship to play in a 12-team CFP???) with a play-in / wild card type game with #4 vs #5. Would also force ND to join a conf. Winning your conference has to count significantly- no way dwags should even be in the discussion.

E$PN is about to be the enemy of at least one fanbase. Maybe one undefeated one.

Notice there is NO QUESTION Michigan and Washington are in. The media war and E$PN war right now is with the ACC and FSU.

Gonna be interesting when they put Texas AND Alabama in the playoffs, despite the head to head already being decided between the two.

The ONLY acceptable playoff is
1) Michigan
2) Washington
3) FSU
4) Texas

No you don't. You have made it absolutely clear that you don't think FSU should get in.
No. What I have said time over time over time is THIS FSU team without Jordan Travis would likely be an underdog to the remainder of the Top 10. Losing Travis has significantly hurt that team. The stupid statement of “best teams” and not “the most deserving” in the language of the CFP will end up costing them due to the significant injury.

It ensures that a team from the south, acc or sec, will win every year. I am ok with that. 12 teams this year would have easily exposed the overrated pac10 and big10. They inflate their win record with creampuffs (each other).. Washington does not belong in the CFP
But only one ACC team would be in. And if FSU leaves none would be

I have a sneaking suspicion that because ESPN owns the playoff and are trying to destroy the ACC that FSU will be left out on purpose

Yep. ACC forced to dissolve. FSU and Clemson take a smaller SEC cut and move there as lessers

No they didn't, the records this year place the conferences thusly:
PAC 12
ACC
Big 12
SEC
Big 10

Come on. The only person you’re fooling is yourself. The ACC is NOT the 2nd best conference, especially when the runner-up will probably be around #18, right in front of #19 NCSU, #23 Clemson. You’re using a metric on a bunch of 7-5, 6-6 teams (6 of them) making the conference good?

P12 was clearly #1.
B1G, SEC 2-3
ACC, B12 4-5

If you want a debate of who is #4/#5, then sure I can concede the ACC is probably #4.

And the only reason FSU is even a question is because their QB3, who will likely never play again, didn’t run the offense as well as QB1 or QB2

There is no way you know if FSU's defense is as good as Iowa's.
Statistically Iowa’s (#4 after yesterday) is better than FSU’s (#7 after yesterday). And everyone knows Iowa’s offense was in the bottom 10 in the country.

That said, FSU’s defense is much better than I thought statistically, so I will admit my mistake saying FSU’s wasn’t close to Iowa’s. 2 teams prior to Travis’s injury were night & day different overall due to FSU’s O. Now……2 games post Travis, and while FSU’s O is still better than Iowa’s, it’s not close to being what it was before. FSU needs a much better O to win if they play Michigan or Washington.

The SEC is probably below the Big 12 this season. Mizzou did beat K State (which I misremembered all weekend…) but otherwise their results OOC were worse. I think it’s maybe more like Pac XII has been best and the other conferences are all right in the mix. Louisville. Losing to Kentucky really hurt the ACC perception. But otherwise they had good performances against ND, and we looked respectable against UGA with Miami and FSU picking up wins over good SEC teams.

Let's hope they look at the last year rating too and think about that ..
