Godspeed Bama, FSU,Texas and Michigan

And the only reason FSU is even a question is because their QB3, who will likely never play again, didn’t run the offense as well as QB1 or QB2
But still good enough for a 10 pt win over a Top 15 opponent. Plus, it's not like FSU's offense was greased lightning even with Jordan Travis. They were always a defensively led team that just happened to pop off on offense in a few games.

The only logical solution to the 2023 CFP is to have Michigan, Washington, and FSU either draw straws, or use a statistical measure of some sort, to determine who gets a bye.

Undefeated Team A - Bye

Undefeated Team B vs Undefeated Team C

Winner of B/C vs A for the Championship

One-loss teams stay home.

Come on. The only person you’re fooling is yourself. The ACC is NOT the 2nd best conference, especially when the runner-up will probably be around #18, right in front of #19 NCSU, #23 Clemson. You’re using a metric on a bunch of 7-5, 6-6 teams (6 of them) making the conference good?

P12 was clearly #1.
B1G, SEC 2-3
ACC, B12 4-5

If you want a debate of who is #4/#5, then sure I can concede the ACC is probably #4.
That's because the ACC play a gauntlet of great teams in their conference schedules. Bama and uGA pad their records by playing lesser teams in conference, so they don't get as banged up every week as ACC teams do.

The out-of-conference results show this to be true.

Out and about wearing an Alabama cap.... getting quite a few dirty looks.

GO JACKETS!!

I think I'll put mine on as well. Although I'll just look like everyone else here in Prattville.

I just don't believe the Committee has it in them to exclude the SEC. I think they'd sooner announce a one-year expansion to 5 teams.

Shame the entire season isn't based on your hyperbole.

The only thing you can go in is records. The ACC was 10-6 against the SEC, with two of those victories for the ACC coming from FSU. GT, while not winning the game, was the ONLY team to hold UGAg to under 209 yards passing this season. Little, pathetic, 4th place finisher GT.

FYI: The College Football Playoff selection show is at 12:00pm on ESPN.

(Corrected)

So a point brought up on ESPN today is, the P12, B1G, and ACC commissioner’s are the reason we don’t have a 12 team CFP today. So this may be another sticking point in Tallahassee in an hour.

If you go by projections, here would be the CFP starting next week:

Top 4 byes:

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. FSU / Bama

Highest seed below hosts the 1st round game.

5 vs 12 - FSU / Bama vs Liberty* (Highest G5 qualifier).
6 vs 11 - UGA vs PSU (they would move Ole Miss to avoid a re-match).
7 vs 10 - tOSU vs Ole Miss (they would move PSU to avoid a re-match).
8 vs 9 - Oregon vs Mizzou

It's Adairsville but with a Bass Pro Shop.
Foreplay in Adairsville is when she starts screaming "I'm your sister. I'm your sister!"

did i mention we out rushed BAMA agaisnt the dwags? actually out gianed them overall too.
And played better defense AND they str8up stole one of our plays to cement the win.

Being Key hates UGAg and worked for Saban, I wonder if a phone call was made and Key said "run this play if the game is on the line. Here's what we saw they will do to defend it."
