Quinlan put it out yesterday morning that it was coming, several hours before it was "known" elsewhere. They had also somewhat hinted at it coming a while back but thought the kid would honor his commitment he made when he pulled his name from the portal the first time. It appears he was a bit freaked out about the presence of Hall, the RB transfer from Louisville and worried about touches.

I get that many of you don't like KQ but I think it's definitely worth the money I pay. I like the information they provide.

I been saying - I think Dontae was our best RB last year. Gibbs did more work, but we kept putting in Dontae when we got to "must have it" situations, often on 3rd and 5+, and he came through more often than not. In a season devoid of bright spots because I just don't want to see the improvement, Dontae was a ray of sunshine.

In a season devoid of bright spots because I just don't want to see the improvement, Dontae was a ray of sunshine.

Dontae has serious burst. If he has the season I expect and doesn't get injured, I think he has a legit shot at playing on Sundays.
