This is simply out of curiosity given the lofty expectations of our fans (myself included)

What are everyone’s thoughts on GT leaving the ACC and to where?
Given the fact that let’s face it … the FSU and the U and Clemson are really about to have a huge competitive advantage given fan base depth and $$$
Could it hurt us? If we truly want bowls and conf champs… ???

Just a question

IMO, with NIL money, now is the time for Harvard and Yale to return to FBS football and leverage all of their billionaires around the world to become the 1 & 2 teams in CFB every season. Just say "öööö you UGAg, Texas, Alabama, look what WE can pay a player to win."

Do it for about a decade to prove a point and then say "we are bored now" and return to the Ivy League.

We're simply waving the white flag if we drop down to Group 5 or FCS.

If given the chance we should leave for the SEC; but we have nothing to offer them. Probably should have left for the B1G if in fact they really did call because it may have given us more to offer the SEC if we had. As it stands right now, our best option is to stay in the ACC and hopefully improve our product.

Sadly true.

ACC gives us the best shot at the CFP, but we haven’t even been competing for ACCCG for the last 7 years. Why would we leave? What would be the benefit?

GT should just be content with the P5 conference they are in currently. I'd hate to see GT try to throw their weight around only to learn that they weigh 150lbs soaking wet.

Georgia Tech should have gone to the Big Ten nine years ago and needs to go to the Big Ten now. Part of the recruiting problem and the reason that we stay irrelevant is because we play in the sorry ACC.
What would make us relevant in any Power5?
