Gutsy effort, but we have a real problem on offense.

So you say what? Our Wrs suck and every position is open to competition? Besides, what makes you think that was his whole comment? The paper prints the part they want.
You say "we'll see..."

I will foreve be amazed that after a great win

And there we have the "fans" that will forever be happy to participate in the Nut-Sack Bowl, the Carquest Bowl and the Champs "You Suck" Bowl. This wasn't a great win in my eyes (and many others), it was a sloppy home conference win. A good team should win it's home games. It wasn't great by any means, we couldn't convert a 3rd down to save our lives, only really won because of the ineptitude of our opponent (2 dropped TD passes and missed FGs). Then our only offensive spurt came on the back of a horrible play call (3rd and 13 and Choice spurts for 20 something yards).

This game was awful from an offensive standpoint, and the defense can only hope to win 2 or 3 games a year for us.

In all the wailing and knashing of teeth over the poor offensive showing, no one has mentioned that Clemmons is #2 in total defense behind BC in the ACC (#22 nationally) and is #7 in pass defense nationally.

It's certainly no excuse, but we weren't exactly playing the sisters of the poor, either.

TB is OK.JUST ok.Some days that is acceptable. Some days you can't hold the other team to 3 pts.He looks like every GOOD teams' 2nd unit QB.The uva game was an example of having to WIN the game.He didn't do it.JUST the facts.

sounds like a pretty effective call to me. i'm guessing draw or screen? these can be great calls on 3rd and long. please elaborate on how a play call that results in a first down off a 3rd in long was "horrible".

3rd and 13 with our offense sounds like a reasonable time to call a draw.
