Haynes King starter?

I am not arguing with any of you 3 guys above. I agree, but with the roster we had I'm not sure it's his fault that he was the starter, regardless of all of his shortcomings. He looked like the second most athletic guy on the roster and in spite of everything was our best option at QB. IIWII

I dunno he might have done well at TE or WR or slot receiver or something

Pat Carter came to GT under Gailey and couldn't hack it at QB. We tried to move him to WR so he left and went to Louisville to play QB. They moved him to WR.

Tight end would be the most stacked position in all of football if the mediocre QBs would just play there. Now that a lot of QBs are 6'5" you hear that a lot.

Thing is, they might not be able to catch either.

Or making downright awful reads. Kid was absolutely stacked with talent though in a roster that didn’t have much of it. IIWII

Sims threw an absolute dime about 5% of the time. The rest of the time, he couldn't hit the ocean while standing on the beach. I would say he had a lot of athleticism, but not so much on the talent.

And he certainly wasn't a leader the team would rally around.

I hope this doesn’t sound too pessimistic, but I think whatever character flaws we have in our early 20’s we end of having for the rest of our lives. We mature and hide them and control them better, but I believe they are still there.
I believe studies show you have til you are 25 or so to change. Otherwise you are correct that it’s a lot about selling better.

We would have been better off with James Graham. What’s the longest pass Sims ever completed while he was here?

He had a beautiful pass at the start of the Pitt game we got walloped in. I remember being excited for the rest of the game only to be sorely disappointed.

Or Tobias Oliver. Perhaps the single biggest thing that chaps my ass about Collins' tenure is the last second furtive time out that he called that negated Oliver's game winning touchdown against the Citadel.
Man, same! I was there with my son in the South end-zone stands watching him run right at us, everybody was going crazy thinking we had won the game, what a freaking letdown

To make matters even worse the clown blamed the refs because he didn't know the football rules for when the clock starts.

Stop, I’ll start drinking again…

Lol. Didn’t he blame the PA announcer, or something?
Just listened to the postgame press conference. According to cgc the ref said the clock would start on the snap, and it sounds like it started on ref's ready to play signal. In the game, we had a clock infraction at :23 in the 4th. This required a 10 second runoff, and the ref said "clock operator, please set the clock to 13 seconds and start the clock on the ready to play".
