How good is FSU, really?

We'll know how good FSU was this year at the end of the season. It's premature to ask how good is FSU. How good is Tech? Because I kept hearing we're the best 2-5 team in the nation all the way until kick off and it seemed we were the best 3-5 team in the nation after that.

It's college football. The top 25 at the end are more or less the best 25 teams in the country.

We lost to 4 teams, and beat 1 team. Based on my having watched all of these games, I would not say that FSU is better than them.

There's no logic in that. Coastal has good teams this year.

Pitt/Duke over Clemson? I cannot see that. They're good teams, solid top 25 squads but Clemson would curb stomp Pitt and likely beat Duke by two scores.

I cannot see an ACC Coastal team beating Clemson given how poorly we looked and how evenly matched we were with the other Coastal teams. Granted it was on the road, but still...

I do think Duke and UNC could beat FSU. I don't think Pitt is very good. They got very lucky against us in the first half.

The winner of the Coastal will be UNC, and Marquise Williams will destroy Clemson and the Heels will put 48 points on the board.

FSU is most assuredly better than UGA. And if we can beat FSU, we can beat the mouth-breathers. So that's cool.
 
Anyway. As long as "Clemsoning" truly is dead, I expect that Florida State will be the toughest game Clemson has the rest of the year, by far. They're going to do awful, awful things to South Carolina and as I said they should still handle the best the Coastal has to throw at them by 10+.

If that clown running the show has the ability to guide a team to the playoff then this is the year to show it.
