The amount of handwringing over the fact that Bobinkski doesn't respond to asinine emails from fans is hilarious.
Go ahead and let me hear what you think.
It'll be problematic for Bobinski to use us as a bridge job to an athletic juggernaut.
D-Rad left his mark by building all the new facilities, so M-Bob will have to make his mark by revitalizing our football and basketball programs. That'll be a lot harder than funding a new arena or football practice building.
Our storied basketball program is currently 1 game above .500,
Giving CBG a renewal was such a pointless move. CBG has been worse than Hewitt from every standpoint except beating UGA. Shows me that Bobinski doesn't want to rock the boat or make any moves.
I get what you're saying. Maybe our program isn't that "storied." But from 2000-2010 we saw consistant success. Tech became known for producing star NBA players such as Chris Bosh, Thaddeus Young, Will Bynum, Derrick Favors, Jarret Jack, Iman Shumpert, Anthony Morrow. Along with great college players such as Lewis Clinch, BJ Elder, and Luke Schensher, just naming a few.Gotta stop you right here.
There really isn't that much history to our basketball team. For the most part we've been a middle-bottom tier ACC team. There have been isolated blips of success in the 80's and early 90s, but certainly nothing that "storied" IMO.
Lets keep it real.

With Paul Hewitt, recruiting was a success. The only problem was winning with the star talent that we had. With BG we havent shown ability to win or recruit...You are referring to the Hewitt years as consistent success? We should have kept him then.
Shows me that you understand little regarding CBG's extension; it bolsters recruiting with very little buyout penalty.
