You might be correct. I'm pretty sure Brenton King is on scholly but I thought they gave one to Shawn Davis as well. He might be a preferred walk on along with Wesley Wells.

So we have 2 not 4. That means we can double our chances of getting a good kicker, at the cost of only 2 additional scholarships.

They averaged under 2 points per offensive possession in the first half.

Man. I didn't realize it was that bad until I went back and looked at the box score. What the hell happened to our defense after half time?

Defense gave up one touchdown on five possessions in the first half. They gave up five touchdowns in six possessions in the second half.

That is quite a discrepancy.

It's a damn good thing you're not a football coach with that kind of logic. If you're going with 4 why not double it to 2 per year to make sure we have a minimum of 8 on the team at any point? That should theoretically guarantee we can kick all balls out of the end zone and make a high % of field goal attempts. Don't forget some guys take 5 years to graduate so some years we're gonna have extra kickers.

But extra kickers may not be enough. Hell, let's just make it 3 scholarships per year on kickers. We will RULE the kickoff/extra point/field goal domain. I am @beej67, hear me roar!
