Why would the OC of a team seeded #2 in the playoffs feel the need to step down? That don't make no sense.

Because they know they backdoored their way into the CFP in a very average SEC and their offense was choked out by an average GT defense for 55 minutes and required the aggressive game takeover by the referees to have a higher score than Tech at the end of a rivalry game that they lost.

I’m still mad and I will never get over this​


I’ve perseverated over this game and BS outcome for two weeks. My group chat with my Tech people is ground hogs day. It’s all we bitch about. I don’t know how to be an adult about this and move on, but I’m still losing my shit on anyone who tries to tell me “Tech played well (bless their souls)”. Next year has to be blood.

Guy at work, good dude actually who is light hearted, made a comment about Tech’s “loss” to get under my skin - because it is legitimately way too easy right now. I pulled out my phone and showed him the egregious calls. He rubs his eyes, said he can’t see well, and walks away laughing “I didn’t see no missed calls…but I can’t see too good”. Ha.
 
Friend texted last night, “close game”. Dunno why, I assumed he meant the Tech game in Athens. Fire off 7 novel length text message responses, as well as multiple slomo clips of all the bogus calls or no calls. He responds, “Im talking about falcons raiders”
