Friend texted last night, “close game”. Dunno why, I assumed he meant the Tech game in Athens. Fire off 7 novel length text message responses, as well as multiple slomo clips of all the bogus calls or no calls. He responds, “Im talking about falcons raiders”

Every time I step out in Tech gear, somebody brings up the game. ööööing pisses me off. I don’t need no pity or sympathy.

Once I see my Georgia fan friends after they e had copious amounts of alcohol…they admit that we deserved to win. They know it deep down.

We got ööööing hosed and I’m still pissed about it….BUT….its not like that game cost us a playoff spot. I don’t think I would recover from some BS like that.

My sister's son got in, too, just saw the email. He was a student there for some kind of class and got credit, through some program so he had already kinda got accepted.

He likes Tech, but he says it's one of his "fall back" schools. I'm sure his parents hope he goes there for financial reasons, but he's got his eyes on some other schools too. If he gets in to MIT, he wants to go there. Not sure if he will get it, though.

I asked him, "why you wanna go to the Georgia Tech of the North?" He said that he was interested in living in a different part of the country for a while, and more than 30min from home. I can see his point.

That's what grad school is for!

Although I think they will still win tonight, OSU is getting some calls against them to keep Tennessee hanging around. There was a short stretch to end the 1st half where OSU got hosed on a couple of big plays. Seems like lots of people are starting to notice the preferential treatment.

Just 15 minutes ago. In line at Publix. Have my GT hat on. Kid behind register, “you guys should have won that game”. Me: “we did win that game. The refs stole it from us.” Old white guy in line behind me turns red, then goes “they stole that damn game from you guys and it’s happening all the damn time, you’re exactly right you guys did win that game that’s exactly right”. Kid behind register, a bit uncomfortable, “yeah…I’m a uga fan and I agree with you guys”. Then I just unload my anger on the old guy and he agrees with me and I felt better. Then more pissed again.
