I picked Nesbitts “steal back”but I couldn’t change it when I found another I liked better
I also like the white out against Miami
The 2016 game with the Leap was great
2014 was special because we should have won that going away but I thought the mutts were going to sneak out a win
But they lost- tough öööö mutts
And of course the Orange Bowl win was awesome

Personal choice is 09 VT game, but only cause I was there and that atmosphere was insane. Also this great highlight video to remind me of it.

That said the 2014 offense was something special as well. I think by like game 10 or 11 it completely broke the OFEI system and had an efficiency above 0.9 or something that was spose to be impossible.

I was at a reception for President Peterson shortly after his installation with his cabinet, deans & school chairs. CPJ came in from practice along with DRad. My boss at the time quipped, "We are surrounded by some of the brightest academic minds in the world and the highest paid guy the room is wearing a jogging suit." Great CPJ memory. As for the poll, 2008 UGAg followed closely by 2014 UGAg.

The guy in the jogging suit was pretty smart too.
Just ask his stock broker.

Because of the memory of attending with my son, the FSU game in 2008 will be my most special moment. Cooper caused the fumble inside the 5 yard line to save the game.

The win over VPISU at night when they were ranked was also awesome.

Lastly, I can remember the relief when we finally beat the DWAGS in Paul's first year. It was glorious.

I wish we would have supported this man with all of our resources available, and I really think by now, we would have already had another special year or 2. I know everyone doesn't agree with me, but his genius always gave us a chance when our talent did not.

The right answer is probably in that list but it’s hard to pick. Honorable mention was that cold whiteout game against Miami where we beat their asses. I was sitting next to some typically obnoxious Miami fans, and sometime in the third quarter they said “every time they score it gets colder out here,” and after that next score they left. :-)

I guess this one. 15 FSU is probably the most fun I’ve had but the UGA wins are all better and 2008 broke the streak and I was there. Preseason #1 and all that.

Surprised that Miracle on Techwood doesn’t have more votes - I think about it weekly.

Only game in the last 25 years I regret missing; been to pretty much all the other meaningful wins

That said. It’s almost a decade since seeing anything truly memorable

I had to think about it for a bit but I landed on UGA 2008 like most people. That game was just too perfect and it had everything in the game and leading up to the game.

-They were preseason #1
-We had lost 7 straight to them
-It was in Athens
-They dominated in the first half but we came out and stormed the ööööing gates in the second half including two, two point conversions- Literally a few minutes after CBS flashed the “Where’s the sting?” graphic.
-Their 5 star RB fumbled the KO in the second half to setup Dwyer’s TD.
-They came back and made it close but every time they got close we pulled away again. Roddy’s sideline TD run is forever burned into my brain. “These Georgia defenders are standing there wondering what just happened?”
-They lost with their future NFL QB

Based on the first half, UGa could have won that game by 20+, but our guys showed no quit and wouldn’t lie down. I wasn’t at that game but I will always know exactly where I was watching it.

edit: of course now I’m thinking about the 2014 win…..

one of the great things about 08 was sitting in a private box at Sanford that was half full of former Tech players. When they found out I knew Paul, I got a lot of questions. And then when we tied it up and went ahead, i was sitting outside, they were inside, going with our own version of the epic fist pumps as they pounded on the glass too. I hope we pissed off every f'in mutt within 20 yards of us.

I'm in on 2008 also. A beautiful win, but also the deflated and stunned ugag fans made it perfect.

I'm a lifelong sidewalk fan (thanks Techsamillion-RIP), but my wife's brother ended up going to GT. One of his ugag vendors gave him four tickets on the home side, 45 yard line, 17 rows up and told him they'll just pick up some extra somewhere and enjoy the game. We had lunch with them, and my bro-in-law made sure they picked up the tab.
At the game, my wife, sister, he, and I sat amongst their redneck snobbery.

At halftime (a tribute to the then recently deceased radio guy) , he got an obnoxious "ouch" text from the guy.

Then the fun began. We had a great view of Richt circling his team after the third quarter trying to rally them while, across the way, GT players were "All the Waty Turnt Up"!

Exited hedge level, sure to grab a branch on the way out.
Great thread, excited to honor CPJ tomorrow.
No pics of wife or sis.

Plus it was the first game with Paul Johnson as coach against them so we didn't really know what to expect. And remember how jacked up got during the game, yelling öööö at the dumbasses in the crowd and we came back in a flash. You can't really make a better first impression. I have goosebumps just remembering it right now. You can definitely argue that 2014 was a bigger win as a team, but I can't see how anything could ever top the experience of that 2008 game. It was as gloriuos as anything that has ever been and will ever be.
